Project Engineer, Almaty

Skills and experience required:

Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Software Engineering or related fields
Working experience with leading-edge technologies in the mining industry
Experience with Linux OS and shell scripting, relational databases (PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server), scripting languages such as PHP, Perl, Ruby on Rails
Knowledge of C++ or Objective-C programming languages
Familiar with project delivery methodologies for the purpose of managing installations
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Installing, configuring and commissioning MineOperate operational systems (Fleet Management System and Mining Equipment Health Management System) at customers’ sites
Deploying and upgrading MineOperate systems, working closely with the project managers for a successful delivery outcome
Identifying issues and opportunities for improvement with Mining operational systems installed at customer mine sites and re-configuring systems as required
Troubleshooting and configuration of hardware and software
Providing training to operators and other customer personnel in the use and operation of systems at client sites
Conduct pre-sales tasks including configuration testing and field trials, repairing scoping and requirements documentation
Preparing reports on the performance of the deployed solution at the client site and recommendations for improvements as required
